Jesse is a loving husband and father to two young girls. He is a five-time college graduate, each with honors, and has been recognized on numerous occasions for his scholastic abilities, community leadership, and humanitarian heart.
Jesse has served as a staff attorney, drafting legislation and conducting legal research for members of the Ohio General Assembly, and has served as a law clerk at the Ohio Statehouse, the criminal courts of Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the United States Attorney’s Office. Additionally, he has intensively researched and published numerous articles about ways to reduce the occurrence of domestic violence in the home.
In his personal life, Jesse has a passion to serve those in need. He has developed programs to provide computer training and college scholarships to the underprivileged and has contributed numerous hours to pro bono activities earning him special recognition from the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation as well as being named a Public Service Fellow with the Dean’s Highest Honors by The Ohio State University. Additionally, he has traveled to several different countries volunteering in refugee camps, orphanages, and villages where people have been displaced by war and violence.
