Why did I get this Letter?
Our law firm has gone through numerous property records and we have identified certain specific properties where we believe the owner may be paying too much in taxes. So, if you received a letter, congratulations! It means we think we can save you money and would like to talk with you about it.
What will it cost if I don’t win?
Zero. Zilch. Nada. If we don’t successfully lower your taxes and save you money, then there is no cost to you.
What will it cost if I win?
Simple. We each take part of your property tax savings the first year and then each year after that you keep everything. That way, we only make money if you do. We will do all the work, take all the risk, and you can sit back and enjoy the savings, often for years to come.
What will I have to do?
Just give us a call, answer a few questions, and that’s about it. We try to do all the work for you. Usually we can get everything we need to prepare your case and take it to completion with only one phone call from you.
How long will it take?
It will probably take a couple of months. A lot of it depends on the county and how quickly things move on their end.
I have other friends/family who own property; can you take their case too?
Regretfully, no. We are a small law firm and can only handle so many cases at once. Therefore, we have to be selective in choosing our cases. The fact that you received a letter from us means that we believe we can help you.
Will I need to attend a hearing or go to court?
You shouldn’t have to do anything except sit back, relax, and hopefully we’ll have some good news for you soon. We will try our best to take care of everything for you. If it turns out that we need additional information or something else to help us make this happen, then we’ll let you know.
When should I contact you?
In short, as soon as possible! Through the property tax reduction season, I basically live in the office, so most hours will work, but the best hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Please know that for us to be able to help you at all, we must have everything gathered and prepared for your case by March 31st. So again, please call sooner rather than later.
